S.T.C.C ROUND TWO RESULTS AND RACE REPORT.

Well I arrived early, just after 7am and
was greeted by a large number of people who has spent an obviously warm
and sunny Saturday at the track, this bode well I thought as I unpacked
the gear from my car, but something inside said "put up the gazebo
Mike"..... so I did!
Qualifying got underway and whilst generally overcast, it remainded dry
all the way through. Finals started, and by the time the first race was
underway it had begun to drizzle, lightly, then slowly getting heavier
as the subsequent races got underway. As this round went on, it started
to ease but some track sweeping was needed to reduce the puddles. Being
mindful of the potential and costly damage that drivers could suffer I
put the options for the rest of the day to the drivers, who
overwhelmingly voted to continue the day as scheduled with
approximately 75%-80% voting to run on....and so we did, with some
displays of very capable, and at times entertaining driving skills
displayed raising many a cheer from the watching audiences around the
track. So, a very well done to everyone, it was still a really great
day with lots of "old" faces showing up to shake hands and renew
acquaintances, and a completely full entry to boot!
