MM UK G.M.C.C. WINTER CHAMPIONSHIP 2009.

Post by MR G.M.C.C. on Wed Oct 14, 2009 1:54 pm

Another great nights racing last night and really enjoyed the track layout even if I was not on it for long lol. The juniors are starting to rapidly improve which is great and the rest are also improving, the racing is getting very competitive and close which is a good sign.

A few sore points are the marshalling or lack of it over the past few weeks, we really need to get out as quickly as possible after we race to marshall the next race! adn dont forget to bring your transponders back asap.

Also PLEASE when you here your number called and you have finished your race pull over in the corner at the bottom of the staris to the left or right and collect your car from there. Don't keep racing around the track once finished as others are still racing and you will be in their way.

Marshalls can you PLEASE stay at your points until the Computer say's the RACE IS OVER, one marshall stepped on a car last night and broke it leaving the driver having to use another car for the rest of the night and was very upset about it.

One last gripe, if you have to or want to go home early PLEASE close your table down and put it out of the way against the wall. This helps us all when packing away.

Thank you all in adavnce for your co-operation and sorry if it sounds like moaning, we dont have strict rules but have to draw a line somewhere. Smile

Hey, i didn't break his car, it clipped my foot while i was putting the track back, but didn't put his car out of shape. The car broke when he hit the piping down the straight! Just so you know!lol

Next week a 'U' track! FAST!lol See how well your car can handle round a fast sweeping corner and then slow hairpins - Can you set your car up, for both types of corning!?!?!?!?lol

Unlucky for last tues night Ginge I'm sure you would have won again. But well done to Ali who beat me at long last. It wont be as easy next week mate, as long as I get steering lol, wide hexes were to wide, going to try a few more tweaks this week before Round 2 of RR's, so fingers crossed for both tues and next sunday.

P.S. nearley forgot, the boys are coming on great Nicky more than Terry but there is a 3 year age gap so not that bad really.

Going to up their speed for RR'S and see how they do then, Nicky will be using his new Redline from tues onwards so should be quick with the advance on 15 deg with his evil reverse speedo.
Had to super glue his rear shock tower today as someone stepped on his car last tues night, oh the irony of it lol. Hope it holds up as spares for the mx707r max are like rocking horse poo lol.
