Re: Outdoor Racing...
I'm doing all the STCC and BRCA TC meetings! Along with a couple of other 8th buggy meetings at Fairlop! (You want to be pit biatch???lol)
Will do other meetings at WLRC, such as club meetings when they're on!

Re: Outdoor Racing...
Ohh mate.. Ricky's already saying that I'll be GMCC's Buggy Bitch.. So when the 3 of us gonna do some threesome action... LOL..
On a serious note.. I'm thinking of running the WLRC series, since I feel & heard that's the closest to us + it's a good track. But I heard that it's bare.. No power.. No Tables.. No Chairs..

Re: Outdoor Racing...
lol! yeah you are boi! 5th April is the Fairlop meeting! I like the 'GMCC Buggy Bitch' name! Thats funny!lmfao
Nothing at WLRC - got to bring your own 12Volt, table / chairs!lol and yes, good track and flowing! They do change the layout from meeting to meeting so it will be different from time to time.

Me and Dani will be going to Southend but probally WLRC the most as it is the best/nearest track around, if you are there when we are you are all more than welcome in my gazeebo, to keep the rain or sun off lol.

P.S. might be going to Southend this Sunday it starts at about 9am and finishes about 4-430pm depending on how many turn up. with the STCC approaching fast there will probally be a good turn out over the next few months.

Re: Outdoor Racing...
sorex 32s are the most common used tyres as they use them at the Nats saying that I used them there last year at the KOGP and they had a very good wear rate and at £22.50 (if there still that price) they are good value for money and the wheels dont break.
Is it the 1st round of the sumer series next sunday the 29th? If so thats where we will be going. Do they do a 13.5 class? the didnt last year???

Re: Outdoor Racing...
Are those like premount sorex 32's? Or we mix & match them with rims & insert? How many sets per race is required..?
By WLRC calender I think the 1st round of their championship is on the 5th April. Yup.. They have stock but I'm contemplating to run pro stock? What'cha reckon? I'm thinking like 13.5 would be a bit slow for the big outdoor track.. Am I assuming this right?

Re: Outdoor Racing...
Last years kogp had 13.5 drivers doing as many laps as 10.5 so there not slow.

Re: Outdoor Racing...
So how long does a set of Sorex 32's last? 1 heat.. 1 race? to be competative of course...

Re: Outdoor Racing...
Well if I was racing at a national or other big meeting then I used to use about 2-3 sets of tyres a day. About 2 runs per set, but this is at the highest level of racing.
At club level I only use old tyres as you are only racing for fun, but do use new ones when I need that extra edge if it is a good meeting.
