We’ve written about the new Photon TC from TOP Racing before in depth, when we showed you the first CAD images of the car as well as the first photos
of the car, and now we have the first photos of the final production
car. The Josh Cyrul penned chassis has plenty of nice features,
including super low centre of gravity, a system for balancing and
weighting the car when using LiPo packs and diff pulleys that utilize
3-point triangular diff ball slots. The car will be available in and
around June.

Imagine you've removed those CF links between bulkheads
It must be well ok for carpet cos Josh is racing mainly with foam tyres (stiff side)
proper camber links (he raced for xray for a long time )
Over all looking really good car but will be a different experience for Mr Young cos car will not be 50:50 anymore

Looking at this picture if think my lipo will nearly go where it is now on my Scythe, so it looks like I will have 50:50 - 50:50. Or I could make some top deck spacers like a certain other car to raise it then the lipo will go under and flush with the chassis

the most effective change here is the motor position... (Fornt to Rear 50:50 is gone now)
But you will tell us if the change is any good or not

Looking at the picture above (the last one) if think this will be an improvement as now everything is squared off as in when the lipo is fitted, the servo and motor will be in line with the speedo and reciever in the middle, at the moment my servo is the forward of the two optional positions (so I can fit the speedo and reciever on the chassis) which puts more weight to the front of the car, the new layout should solve this problem.

I was out testing my new Photons today. As you can see I am taking the new car very serious and have bought a vast range of spares and four cars as I will be doing several different classes this winter, watch out all orangotang cars.
