IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!!!

Due to a fall in the number of drivers over the past 4 weeks we have had to stop racing at Goresbrook for the moment.

The hall costs us £100 a week and with only approx 12 drivers racing for the past 4 weeks means we have had a short fall of £40 a week which has meant we have had to use what liitle club finds we had in reserve to pay this short fall.

Club funds: We have £102 left in the club funds as of 27-03-08.

We are now in the process of looking for a cheaper venue which may take us a week or two. Please bear with us why we endevour to find a new venue and if you know of one please let me know asap.

We would need a hall which is at least 20m x 14m in size and at a maximum cost of £80-£85 for the 4-5 hours that we would need to hire it for.

Storage should also be taken into consideration as we would need to store our carpet and ropes which means we need an area of 2m x 2m minimum.
