Good bye, dear friend.
It is with great sadness that I have to inform you that Scott Everitt passed away early Sunday morning. He had a heart transplant 3 years ago and was on 30 tablets a day to keep him stable and even though at times
he was not at the best of health he always put a brave face on so he could go racing which was his passion and he loved racing so much, even though as he had said and would admit that he was not the best driver in the world but just loved the technical side of the sport and competing.
Many of you may have known Scott or seen him and his mum Jane who always marshalled for him trackside at various race meetings all over the country last year and this year be it the Nationals, Carpet Wars, Rug Racers, SRCCC, RMCV and most recently he raced at GMCC with his new Mod Recoil which like all of his cars was imaculate and the quickest thing on four wheels. Scott always had the best equipment and along with his purple Cyclone his pit table had the most purple equipment that you would ever see, we always used to say and joke that he had better gear than Andy Moore and more of it which was probably true.
At this very sad time all our thoughts go out to Jane and her family, Scott will be greatly missed by so many of his friends on the racing scene.
