G.M.C.C. New Venue.

We are glad to announce that we have now found a new venue for our club.
The new venue also means a night change to a Tuesday night every week.
As this is a cheaper venue this means we will be here for quite a while. But because it is cheaper it is smaller than Goresbrook was but it will be as big or bigger than most local alternatives.
Track size: 8m x 15m. (This will get bigger eventually if we decide to cut/buy new carpet) it would then be 9.5m x 16m. But so we dont take up to much space with our track equipment we will keep it small to start with, we dont want to upset the hall owners in the first few weeks.
Our first night back racing will be: Tuesday 22-04-08.
The new venue is Vine Hall which is at the back of Vine United Reformed Church, Ilford, IG1 1JH.

Vine hall is in Holstock Road which is off of Ilford High Road. There is a Pizza Hut on the corner of Holst Road and a McDonalds opposite so it is easy to find, follow your nose.
Doors open at 7.00pm until 10.30pm so please have your cars and your cells at the ready.
There is off street parking available for 10-12 cars, first come first served. Please try to park tightly so we can get all of the cars off of the street and not annoy the people who live there. I know a few car share so this should not cause us to many problems.
There are parking meters in the road, but restirctions end at 6.30pm so this will not effect us.
I have spent a lot of time finding this venue so please follow the rules which are used by all other clubs.
1. No bad language. This is a church hall remember!
2. No abusive behaviour to anyone.
3. Keep the hall tidy i.e. rubbish, a black bag will be in the kitchen for all rubbish.
4. Put tables and chairs back where you got them.
5. Help us and yourselves by helping with the track.
6. Enjoy.
As most who have been to our club before you know we very fair and try to keep things running smoothly but, for the first few weeks as things will be new to us all please bear with us as we have to adjust to.
