Re: tyres and wear
New tyres do make a difference at the top level in 19t and mod but at the lower skill level they should last you quite a while before you see a drop off in performance.

Re: tyres and wear
At our club new tyres are not the be all and end all of winning, it's more about consistant lap times not so much about if you have new tyres on.
In general when you get a ridge on the inside edge of the tyre then that is the time that they deffinatly need changing.
Also keep an eye on the edges of the tyres where the are glued to the wheels, if they come unstuck then so will you as the tyres will squirm when cornering, re gluing is a thing you should do regular as it makes a big difference to the handling of the car.

Re: tyres and wear
Ring
one of the rear tyres has a deep ring that makes me worry about tyres

Re: tyres and wear
Ring or ridge either way time to change if you have either.
Just had it confirmed that the lighting will be all sorted for next week, yippee.
