How do you pop these *&^%$£ cork's?
Friday
- timed practice presented drivers with the opportunity to drive the
pro stock and modified track layouts which would challenge them over
the next two days. John Simpson, Olly Jefferies, Ben Cosgrove and
Elliot Harper were all putting in some fast laps. Once again, Ryan Lee
from Muchmore Korea had made the long trip to his favourite track and
Vincent Yip from T.O.P. Racing was also present to support the large
number of Scythe drivers.
Drivers from England, Wales, Scotland,
Ireland, Northern Ireland, Holland, Korea, Hong Kong, Australia and
Austria were in attendance adding a truly international flavour to the
meeting.Saturday - Pro Stock day saw around half of the heats
and finals challenged by light showers with the track alternating
between wet and dry throughout the heats and finals but the first class
drivers shone through with Olly Jefferies taking the win from Ben
Cosgrove and Alan Bickerstaff. Elliot followed in 4th place making a
top 4 for Muchmore UK team drivers.Sunday - Modified day was
split between 5 and 6 cell classes with only one heat for each driver
to be given the 'wet track' status. The rest of the heats and all the
finals were under fine weather so the wet tyres would not be needed!
In
the 5 cell class, an almost perfect run over the 2 legged finals (a 1st
and a 2nd) was not enough for Olly Jefferies with Elliot Harper's
taking the overall win in 5 cell mod due to better times. Olly settled
for 2nd place with Muchmore driver Niels Koenekoop from Holland taking
3rd place with the T.O.P Racing Scythe . Consistent results from
Muchmore UK driver, Ali Graham rewarded him with 4th place overall. In
the 6 cell class, local Scottish driver, Kev Falconer showed his talent
was of International level by taking the overall win with two clean
runs. Graham Kenny took 2nd place with TOP Scythe driver Mark Young
taking the 3rd spot.

Re: Muchmore GP Pictures.

Now that's a Rostrum.

Our home for the weekend.

Our friendly neighbours from Muchmore Racing U.K.

Sorry this is in 3 parts but as you can see it's a huge track.

The very tricky Volcano section.

The exit and entry to the roundabout on Saturday's 19t/10.5 track.

There's that Rostrum again and the entrance to the track.
