Here are all the pictures we took from our weekend away at the BRCA Junior Nationals 2009.

Loaded to the roof and ready for the off.

Nice sized rostrum.

Tricky infield section.

Tel waiting to practice on saturday.

Another one of my "what a hotel room should look like" pictures.

The happy kids with their new bodyshells for the Nationals, they were all stars and made me very proud.

All the competitors after the racing had finished lined up for a group photo.

The kids had thier photo done for Muchmore UK with Jordan who qualified 2nd in the under 17's 10.5 class and finished a fine 3rd overall.

A couple of special mentions.

1.

Their was a support class of mini's with 15 cars all racing at once which was great to watch.

2.

From this pic you may notice that Tel got a trophy even though he finished joint on points with the 3rd place winner in 4th place himself. This was because they worked out a tie on point from where you qualified, but if they had done it the other way which is your fastest time in the finals then would have won it fair and square.

As I have many friends in RC I asked Ben Cosgrove about this and as he had won a 3rd place trophy in the open 13.5 class he donated his on to Tel who is still smiling now. Thank you Ben.
