On some cars (TOP PHOTON) you can turn both diffs 180 degrees so the pulleys as you look from the front of the car to the back of the car are on the left and on the right. You then have moved the front belt over to the lipo side of the car so you can mount your electrics a lot closer to the centre of the chassis and not have to have the lipo hanging out of the side of the car!!! This means lees wieght needs to be added to the lipo side of the car and you can still use your fan.

Recently I decided that I ought to start preparing myself for the

move to LiPo in 12th scale, as and when I can afford the parts. the

first thing I decided to get was a new speed control as I can use it

with the rest of my current set up. I wanted one with 1S LiPo cut off

and also was updatable as the rate of speed control development is

astonishing at the moment. After looking at many posts on forums,

talking to drivers and browsing web sites I decided to buy the Tekin RS speed control ...

This setup guide assumes you have some sort of 'standard setup' to

begin with. One should come with your kit. You can also find standard

setups on manufacturers' websites.

It also assumes your car is in

perfect working order. (Bearings spinning freely, nothing dragging the
