Eversley Winter Carpet Chapionship 25th Jan 2009.

2009 EWCC Carpet Challenge 25th of January 2009 at the Eversley Sports Centre, Basildon, Essex. Booking In is now OPEN! Intended to be a 1 off meeting designed to help promote interest to the local communities in the Sport of Model Car Racing. It is my hope that through the support of the Southend Radio Controlled Car Club (SRCCC) the meeting can be presented to a very high standard, which in turn will lead to additional meetings being held in the future. The track will be laid on carpet covering an area of 32m X 16m We will be using AMB Lap Timing systems with full race control will be handled by the Gray’s Model Car Club. Classes available for this meeting will be as follows: Rubber Touring Stock - 27 turn / 13.5 brushless as STCC TC3 class rules Pro-Stock - 19 turn / 10.5 brushless as STCC TC2 class rules Open Modified - Full BRCA Mod rules including STCC TC1 6.5 brushless options as voted for the BRCA 2009 season. Foam Touring Open Pro-Stock - Any commercially available motor up 19 turn or 10.5 BL. Rules as detailed for TC2. 1/12th Modified - Full BRCA Mod rules i.e. Sunday rules. World GT Pro-Stock- 19 turn / 10.5 brushless limit. All other class rules as per 2009 BRCA limits. As always, for marshalling purposes each class requires a minimum of 8 entrants to be ran. Doors open at 9am and we expect to be completed by 6pm. Full Rules: Rubber Tyre Classes Modified: No motor limit in 5 cells sub-c, 1350g min weight including personal transponder, excluding handout transponder OR 6.5 brushless with 6 cell sub-c or LiPo 1500g weight including personal transponder. TC2: 19T rebuild able stock motors (commercially available 19T spec motors), or brushless 10.5. 6 cell sub-c or LiPo, Weight 1500g minimum including personal transponders, excluding handout transponders. TC3: 27T rebuildable stock motors, commercially available 27T spec motors, or brushless 13.5 with 6 cell sub-c or LiPo, Weight 1500g minimum including personal transponders, excluding handout transponders. All Classes: Batteries: to BRCA maximum limit BUT can be any brand to the relevant limit, 6 cell or 5 cell sub-c, or LiPo where allowed. Ride height is 5mm minimum for all tour car classes. Any 1/10th scale touring car body shells allowed. Tyres: · Xenon 28s · SWP-32C - Sweep Pre-Built 32deg · RP30 (BRCA) · Sorex 28R · STCC Foams: · Any commercially available type permitted Tyre additives and cleaners allowed. Any car on the track with wet tyres will be removed. Marshalling: All drivers to marshal, or driver to elect substitute. If you are not at your marshalling point at the start of the race you will lose your FTD time. 2nd non-marshalling offence and you will be disqualified from meeting.
