Welcome to G.M.C.C.

I would like to take this oppertunity on behalf of all the members here at G.M.C.C. to welcome all new members to the Forum and the Club.

Vine Church Hall,

Vine church hall is in Holstock Road which is off of Ilford High Road. There is a Pizza Hut on the corner of Holstock Road and a McDonalds opposite so it is easy to find, follow your nose.

Classes raced: 1/10 Touring car, 1/14 Touring car Sportwerks Recoils, Mardaves and 12th scale.

* All Touring cars must run to the current BRCA weight rules.

We race every Tuesday night from 7.00pm to 10.30pm.
Race fees are: £5.00 for members £6.00 for non-members. £5 for Wodson members.

There will be a minimum of 3 heats and 1 final for all.

All races are computer controlled and timing is by AMB hand out transponders which require you to have a 7mm hole in your windscreen and a body clip for you to secure it with.

Racing is on a carpet track which is 16m long by 8m wide.

Recommended tyres are: LRP Vtec 27R, Sorex 24'S, Sweep (any) ,Carpet Dagons or foams. Tyre additive is allowed of the non smelly kind.

Tables and chairs are available, please use a cloth or pit towel on your table.

Cold / hot drinks and sweets are available at resonable prices.

A raffel is held every week with prizes donated by F.T.Q. Models to boost club funds so we can expand and improve the club in the future.

All 12volt batteries to be a spill proof container. For further information please ask a committe member.

Membership:
This runs from 01-08 to 01-09 and the fees are as follows.
Junior 16 or under £10.00
Senior 17 or over £20.00
Veteran 65 or over £10.00

B.R.C.A. membership:
As an affiliated club we can process your form for you for the reduced rate of £12.00, normally £14.00 if you do it yourself.
Please note: You can only race 3 times without a B.R.C.A. license. After this time you will be asked to see your license.

Marshalling and driving:
You will be required to marshall after your race, please marshall as you would like to be marshalled.

Driving standards will be watched by race control so no t-boning please.

We are a friendly bunch, off and on the track and would appreciate it if you behave in the same manner i.e. no bad langauge on or off the race track as this is a public area.

Racing is all about having fun, enjoy yourselves.
