Club night time table.

After many requests there will be a change to the way that the schedule is run on club nights. This is mainly due to people not having enough time in between races to fix or charge their cars. Also this will give the Committee and Members longer at the end to pack away and not have to rush as much.
As time is tight on club nights the schedule will be kept to if you are ready or not, as we have to pack up and be out by 10.30pm.
I have worked out the timing to have 3 Rounds of 5 Heats and Finals for all, which includes: 1 Gap Heat per Round, which will be Heat 5. (Gap Heat's are races of the normal 5 minute length with 30 second split time, but with no drivers in them).

There will be a minimum of 5 drivers per race (except Recoils depending
on entrants), this should solve the marshalling problems we have had
in the past.


Below is the time table:

6.30 pm doors open for the track to be laid out.

Practice as soon as the track has finished being laid, the more people help the quicker you can practice.

6.45 pm - 7.30 pm Booking in.

7.40 pm Heat listings posted.

7.45 pm Heat 1 on the line.
10.10 pm Last Final will be run.
10.15 pm - 10.30 pm pack track away.


Round procedure:

Heats: H1, H2, H3 Touring Cars. H4 Recoils. Heat 5 Gap Heat.

Heats 5 is a gap heat of 5mins and 30 second split times.

As you can see there are now only 10 second gaps between heats, but there is now an extra 5 min 30 second gap Heat as well inbetween heats.

Hopefully this should give everyone time to do everything that could possibly need doing to your cars and give us all time to charge to.

The computer will run on automatic and we will not wait or stop the computer for any reason.
