Re: Carpet Wars 6 Stock Championship Results 2009.
So.. as promised... here's the Race Report for the Finale of Carpet Wars at Maritime Raceway.
Both me & Ricky got there bright and early and had our car roughly dialed in. Ricky had some handling issue's causing him not to perform at his level best. Setup changes were made but it was a little bit to late.. He qualified 2nd in the B finals and was easily the fastest thing out there, its just that luck wasnt on his side and everytime he'd get close to the leader something just went wrong.. But in the end he managed to finished 2nd.. Good drive Rick..

As for myself... I'd qualified 4th for the A's but I had some 'personal' issues with me and my car in the finals... I kept on making mistakes after mistakes.. at a momment was in 2nd place.. just to get caught in a corner and drop back to 5th or 6th.. but i had a tight scruff for 3rd, 4th and 5th and it was a blast.. Finally finished it in 4th.. So that's alright I guess..
Ahhh.. we can't forget Mr.Ginge who did a stunning job in his qualifiers to grab P3 in the B finals of Prostock... he was doing well in the start and maintained the top 3 position till disaster struck. As he exit to the straights, he was nudge and made his car all Squirlly Wurrlly... the next thing he's a pinball in the middle of the straight, hit full blast by the remaining of the field and had to retire.. Tough Luck mate...

Hopefully next time Team GMCC can have even better results in the future..
Till next time..
Signing out for GMCC race reports..
